Doctor held/pushed uterus in place to keep baby in place

Okay so I’ve never seen/heard of a doctor

Doing this before but they were trying to Listen to baby’s heartbeat today with doppler and the baby was moving around so much that they couldn’t get a good enough reading so she pushed down on my stomach and holding my uterus in one place to keep baby’s where it was to hear the heart... anyone ever have that done before?! It was quite uncomfortable but I was more worried that was that even safe? Lol. I’m sure it was safe since they are a doctor but what the heck! That’s something different🤔
