Nystatin cream...

Ok so im breastfeeding and dealing with bad thrush...so bad that its creating fissures 😪 I tried all the natural remedies before going to the doctor. The doctor said my baby didn't have it and to start pumping and he gave me a rx for nystatin. Told me to use it three times a day and to place on my nipples after pumping and wipe off any before pumping again with a bit of olive oil on a cotton ball.

I go to the pharmacy to fill the prescription and she told me (without me asking) the same thing but she said I could still nurse my baby.

So which one is it? I know none of y'all are doctors, but does anyone have experience with this drug?
