I had a world history teacher in highschool who, when he was younger, was a volunteer firefighter during 9/11. He told us his story about how he went out to the site of the world trade center amongst the rubble with other men and he said that the rubble was still so hot that it melted through 3 pairs of his boots and his gloves (which are built to withstand hot temperatures). He also described what he had seen. He said that amongst the rubble basically anywhere you walked you would find human body parts.

I don't know what people experienced that day, but I know a lot of lives and loved ones were lost. Never forget what happened on September 11,2001. #StandTogether #NeverForget 🇺🇸💙
