Anyone in here trying or already pregnant with your first and have Crohn's, UC, or IBD I'm here if you need to ask any questions or concerns. I've had Crohn's since I was 13 yrs old and so far had 3 surgeries. I was pregnant 3 yrs ago and had a flare up as well. I was on steroids while I was pregnant and gave birth to a very healthy baby.

When I was pregnant there wasn't any information on what to do when you're pregnant and have Crohn's; I couldn't even find support groups. It's scary as hell to be pregnant with your first but it's even scarier when you're doing it with a chronic illness. You won't find a chapter in pregnancy books on how to deal with an illness while pregnant. And my doctors' barely had information on the situation. It was a learning experience for them as well.
