If you and your partner both have blue eyes the baby will, too. Otherwise it depends on the eye color of both of you plus both of your parents. You’d both have to carry the “little b” for the baby to have a chance for blue eyes. So, for example, if you both have brown eyes and his dad has blue and your mom has blue, you both have a little b and the baby has a small chance to get a little b from both of you (greater chance one if you at least passes on the big B which overrides a little B OR you both pass on the big B; either way that equals brown). Hazel is a variety of brown. Baby’s eyes done fully settle in their shade until two or so.

My husband has blue eyes, I have Hazel eyes. His mom has blue and dad has brown. My mom has brown and dad has hazel. Our 2.5 yr old has blue eyes and our 4 month old still has blue as at the moment.
