His original due date was October 8th, but I had preeclampsia so I was scheduled to be induced September 17th. Baby boy decided that he was gonna come even earlier on the 14th!

I had gone to the hospital on the 12th with contractions, did not progress so they sent me home the 13th. Had contractions all day and during the night. They got to the point where I could not lay down or sleep at all. At 3:09 am I decided to just sit on the toilet so I would not keep waking up my husband. When I got to the bathroom my water broke!

We got to the hospital and at this point I was getting almost no breaks between contractions. I planned that I wanted to do a natural birth but with all the pain I told them I wanted an epidural. When I first got checked I was at a 5. I got checked 10 mins later because I told them I felt more pressure and was at a 6. 5 mins later I felt the need to push, got checked and was at a 10. I had no time to get any pain meds.

They told me I had to wait to push until the doctor got there and that took about 10 mins. Trying not to push was one of the hardest parts of labor. Once the doctor got there I pushed for about 1 min and baby boy practically came flying out!!
