Am I overreacting?

My husband and I recently got married (way before covid). Well in the morning of the wedding day, I get a text from my cousin saying that she was in town, but won't be able to go to the wedding because she had the cold. I was a little sad but I got past it and forgot about it. Then a while later I get another text from her sister saying that she, her husband and daughter won't be able to make it either. Then a while later I get another text from my uncle (their father) excusing himself, his wife and his 2 other kids from the wedding as well. They all live in the same town about 3 hours away from me, and the first cousin that texted me specifically said they all traveled together and were staying somewhere close to the venue.

It wasn't until a week after the wedding that I find out that they all never left their houses and were never in my town like they had made me believe 😔 I still haven't responded to their texts because at first I felt upset that they would cancel on the morning of the wedding, but now after finding out that they never had any intention on coming after everything that was said hurt me more than anything.

To be honest, right now I don't feel like talking to them ever again. Am I being overly dramatic for that? Eventually I think I'll speak to them, but I hate so much being lied to that right now I just don't care for them. Especially since all the money that was spent on their entire table, food, drinks, etc. were gone to waste. It's more about the lie that has me feeling this way.

Edit: my parents were very upset and told me they will speak to them for me.
