The questions “When are you going to have kids?” Or “Are you thinking about having kids?” (among many others) may seem innocent enough. For many, they are incredibly weighted.

Those questions stir up pain and grief, because, for many of us, we don’t have a choice in the matter. We want kids but have not been able to have them, and may never be able to have them.

It is generally not a topic that is openly talked about, seemingly almost “taboo.” It is time for that to change. Those of us who are cnbc need to know that we are not alone in our journey. That’s what World Childless Week is all about.
