Prescribed The PILL To Shrink Cyst?

Went in for a baseline sonogram for an iui and Dr. found cyst on right ovary and was prescribed The Pill for 20 days to see if it helps to shrink it so we can continue the iui. was wondering if anyone else had the same thing happen.. super nervous. Thank you an advance😊

I have a cyst on my right ovary and I had my 6 month transvaginal ultrasound on the 3rd of this month to see if it went away or got bigger. Needless to say it got bigger it's 3.37cm. But I wasn't  offered anything to see if it'll shrink. I was told it'll go away on its own. I'm really starting to get discouraged about it. I'm thinking it's affecting my ability to conceive because I only have part of my left ovary because when they removed my left tube over an ectopic pregnancy in 2018 part of my ovary was taken to.I did miscarry in January of this year and I think that's how I ended up with the cyst I have because I was fine up until then.
