Looking for stories from moms who were induced without being dilated. Ftm and at 39 weeks I’m not dilated at all but my doctor said my cervix did feel softer. She gave me the option of waiting another week to see if I’ll dilate any or going ahead with induction this coming weekend but warned me that it could take a few days since I’m not dilated. I decided to wait until my next appointment a week from now but regardless of what happens at that appointment we’ll be scheduling an induction because I have gestational hypertension. Keeping my fingers crossed I’ll be dilated at least a little so I don’t have to spend 3 or 4 days in the hospital.
