Smoke alarm goes off at 4am then continues to chirp. Husband goes to inspect n I beleive presses the reset button. I remind him maybe it’s a low battery so please change. He argues that it’s a wired system n that battery is backup. How do you even know?! We’ve lived here for a few months n at no time have I ever seen him inspect. So overall he’s assuming he’s correct. I wind up forwarding many online articles even from Bob Villa to prove him wrong n myslef correct. He still denies it’s a battery issue. Well I’m the only person providing a solution! So fix it or prove me wrong!

Oh btw, he never believed 30 day vacate property notices are a thing too. I made him learn the hard way n he had to pay additional $500 because landlord informed him he should’ve submitted a notice or eat the cost of additional rent. Come to years later n we vacate another rental... I remind him about the notice and he SERIOUSLY thinks it’s not a thing still. REALLY?!?!! Have you not learned your lesson the first time?
