Anyone else with a 3rd or 4th degree tear? I had a 3rd degree tear that was very jagged and had a ton of stitches. I bled and was in a ton of pain and it stung like crazy for a couple of weeks. Then week 3 postpartum I felt fine. No more pain or stinging. Now I’m 4 weeks and I’m back to being in pain and it stings like crazy to sit down on the toilet and pee. I also have some on and off red bleeding. I’ve watched for signs of infection and haven’t had any. Has anyone else experienced the healing process for a bad tear before? Is this type of regression normal? I have my 6 week appointment in 1.5 weeks and my doc will check then.
