5 week 1 day ultrasound
So I had my first transvaginal ultrasound today and there was only the gestational sac, no yolk sac. My doctor said I could have miscalculated my period but I am certain I didn’t, or it isn’t a viable pregnancy. I can’t help but feel devastated. Is there a possibility that it is just too early for the yolk sac to have formed? Now I understand why people wait to see their doctor, can’t help but feel like something is wrong. :(
