Stabby IUD?

I got my Mirena implant about 2 years ago now. My partner has mentioned a few times now that he thinks it is occasionally stabbing him? Is this something common? Is there anything I can do? It seems to be an irregular occurrence and doesn't seem to have a specific pattern regarding what position we are in. Could this actually be something other than my IUD?

Could be the strings. When I had mine my bf would complain about the strings. I'd make an apt and make sure it's still in place

Yeah after awhile my husband complained that something was stabbing him. It’s crazy whatever they make the material of the string out of... or the friction whichever the problem. I had my strings trimmed.
