Period underwear postpartum instead of pads or depends?

I ordered some heavy flow period underwear and am hoping these will be sufficient instead of depends or pads. I am a FTM so really no idea what to expect. Has anyone else tried them?

Perhaps after the first week. The first days were like a flood! Even maxi pads weren’t enough to contain leaks. Adult diapers were the winner

I thought of this the other day I have a pair although I don’t think they’re heavy flow and I normally only use them on lighter days or with a tampon. I’m interested in trying the heavy flow ones I think they would be amazing for postpartum

I am thinking of trying this as I was using the underwear previously, though I might get some for heavier flows and use them with a pad to start with just in case.

Would definitely be the most comfortable option! I’d think you’d probably have to wait a few days though to switch to those.

Oh thank God I’m not the only person thinking about this.  I’ve been thinking about this since I found out I was pregnant lol.  I’m like pads suck. I will be so uncomfortable maybe I’ll do adult diapers or period undies.

I've never used them myself but id say depends until the bleeding slows to a normal period flow then its probably fine

I’ve had 6 vagina births and have always used the brand always overnight heavy pads with good old granny panties, never had an issue with post partum bleeding with it

I would just get Always Discreet underwear. They were great and I’ve been using them again at 7wpp for my first period.
