Anyone go through CNY Fertilty??

I have a phone consult with CNY fertility next week after having 4 losses back to back. I had a consult with RE on Tuesday that said I’m not a candidate for ivf bc I get pregnant on my own, but I can’t stay pregnant. He didn’t recommend doing any new tests since my previous doc did RPL panel and came back normal and hubs SA was normal. He gave me Letrozole and wants to test progesterone on day 21.... I’m 42 hubs 45 we have 4 living children together not sure why we’re having secondary infertility other than my age.

Not sure why the RE would say you aren’t a candidate for IVF since many women with multiple losses are successful with IVF. You could PGS test your embryos to limit chromosomal issues (the leading cause of miscarriage) and be prescribed the right meds after transfer for trying to ensure your lining and whatnot is good.

He said this because at that age the chance of ivf success goes into the single digits so it’s the ethical thing to do to not take your money, especially if you are actually getting pregnant on your own. This is probably an issue of sperm and egg quality which ivf cant fix. So it’s trying and trying again till you get that good egg. Good  luck! Read it starts with the egg and get you and your husband on all the multivitamins especially ubiquinol.

Is there an option to meet with a different RE? Unsure why they are saying because you’ve conceived on your own you’re not a candidate for IVF. My husband and I conceived on our own unfortunately ended in a MC at 10w6d; did 3 rounds of Clomid/Trigger/timed intercourse/IUI and now will be moving on to IVF. I would think because of your age you would be a candidate for IVF and more importantly having your embryos tested to see if the losses were related to a chromosomal problem.

My doctor also doesn’t think ivf is necessary for my unexplained rpl. I had 4 before my daughter and 1 after. I previously did a hybrid cycle but over stimmed so she said the stims aren’t necessary with how well I respond so I can just do Femara. I do have lean pcos, and newly low vit d and high tsh. They’ve all been corrected with meds. She basically said just to  keep trying until I catch a good egg. And some added supplements in there
