Not married yet but... Patience. So much patience. Humor. He goes out of his way for me. Respect. Trust. He’s just my rock. I know that no matter what happens, he’s my best friend and nothing life throws at us can ruin us. I struggled hard to keep my head above the water before him and since he’s come into my life, I’ve been able to kick my fear of drowning. I know he’s got me.

My husband has completely taken in my daughter as his own. He loves her so much and she loves him back just as much. She calls him daddy. Her real dad moved to a different state and never calls her or anything 😢 but my husband has totally stepped up. He spends more time than I do because I work until 9pm. He picks her up from school, feeds her, takes her to her gymnastics class, even takes her with me to do his side jobs. I was truly blessed with him. Now if we can just conceive a child together 😋
