Losing your virginity is more a concept than a reality. If by that you mean breaking your hymen be reassured most women broke it a long time before they had their first time. Many of us don’t even have one. 
Losing your virginity is all about having your first time with someone and a dildo won’t make you lose it xx 
But I understand your point and I thought the same. Back then I bought a thin one. Sadly it won’t do much even with vibrations. You’re probably better off buying a clit stimulator if you dont want any penetration like this:

If by virginity you mean that tightness feeling, you'll still get that tightness back even after you've already used a slim toy.
If you think you lose your virginity by inserting anything in your vagina then I'd lost mine to a tampon and a menstrual cup. It took me months and lots of lube before I could successfully get the cup in. Of course, only attemot it once or twice for each start of my monthly period. 
Then I got myself a vibrator bullet which was smaller than the cup so no problem. Next came a vibrator wand which is even narrower than the bullet. I never bought a dildo that imitates the girth, length, or shaoe of a real penis. They were just too expensive for me. 
Many years later, I lost my virginity to my boyfriend. The first few attempts at penetration failed since it hurt too much for me. But he was patient with me and we were finally able to go all way after several more dates. And we never used lube! If we haven't had sex in a while (like weeks), I'd be kinda tight again but it's not as painful as the first few times.
