Is breastfeeding baby #2 different than the first time?

Was it a different experience? If so, in what ways? 
Were there similarities?
Was it harder or easier for you?

Easier because I knew what to expect. I had hoped my nipples wouldn't have hurt as much as the first time, but they did. 
With my first I never had more than a clogged duct. But with my second, I got mastitis three times in three months. Other than that no other differences :)

Oh eff. I know more now than I did. Me second has ate better from the start. 
I learned that i have super soaker tatas and must pump before drowning my newborn. For this I bought a manual breast pump and it was a game changer! My second has been easier but I will say I don't love breastfeeding. I love my children but I do not love breastfeeding.

It's so interesting to read the different experiences y'all have! ♥
My first didn't give me the nipples from hell in the delivery room, even though both of them had a kind of shallow latch in the first week or so. It took me weeks of recovery this time around and I hadn't anticipated that!
My second does not nurse to sleep during the day. My first did that all the time. (... and I missed the mark somewhere long the ride and couldn't get her to sleep without nursing for about 20 month old when I had enough of it. Suddenly, what had seemed to be impossible before, worked like a charm.) Instead, she nurses after waking up, though sometimes she wants the boob for falling asleep but she just snuggles up to it and goes to sleep.
Both my first did and now my second nurses at night while asleep without waking up. It's a blessing and I'm grateful beyond measure for this! It makes the night so much easier. There's no hour long dancing session trying to get the baby back to sleep at 2 am.
My first would hardly ever burp. We kept trying. Held her for the longest time in all the different burping positions, gently patting her bum and back, and she wouldn't burp. Eventually we gave up, seeing that it didn't make any difference.
My second needs burping, sometimes multiple times during the feeding, other times just afterwards, but she always seems to pack some gas bubbles.
She's not yet 3 months old though, so we will see what else is different! ♥
