Where do you keep box of tampons

My husband tonight has gone mad I've put my box of tampons back in the bathroom after he's moved them while I've been out.. He says I shouldn't keep them there 'on show'. I feel he's really out of line and they need to be kept where is easiest.. He's gone in a mood and says I'm controlling... All because my box of tampons are in the bathroom?!?! I have a downstairs loo for visitors so no one else uses this bathroom except us and my 5 year old.
