Dad swears around child

I don’t know what to do. I have talked to him about this ALOT.

He is actually generally a calm, sweet person. But when the toddler throw food on the ground, or acts difficult when changing the diaper etc, heloses his shit, every time.

“What the fuck are you doing! You don’t go around throwing food on the fucking floor” etc etc.

I’ve asked him to not do it, he was taking CBD oil but stopped, he went to therapy but it didn’t really help. He Apologizes every time, saying he didn’t think about it in time, he forgot or whatever.

Is it worth breaking up and moving out and sharing custody over? But, I swear I think my self confidence and happiness is eroding more every day. I sort of like it’s all futile.

One of my friends said I have to change my reaction, But how do I do that?, and just try to minimize time where dad is with baby.

Anyone have any other suggestions?

UPDATE: 😞 So, after really trying hard to talk and be open with him, he basically said that he is sorry, he just feels trapped. He doesn’t want to feel this way. He just doesn’t really enjoy being a parent. And he definitely doesn’t want another, even though we are supposed to be actively trying. He just says just get so angry that his life is this way now. But he doesn’t want to break up.
