For those who were able to move freely during labor AND deliver your baby in whatever position felt comfortable (I.e. squatting, in a labor tub, on hands and knees) please share your experience...

With our first birth, we had a homebirth and it was great. I had a wonderful experience that I’d like to recreate in a hospital. We would choose a homebirth again but by the time it’s my due date, we’ll be transitioning to a new home and don’t think we’d be able to plan a homebirth in time. I’m afraid the doctor/nurses will make me labor on my back since it’s “standard procedure” rather than let me move freely.
