Did my water break?

Stood up from the bed and soaked through my shorts, ran down my leg, has literally no smell! 37+4. I’m over an hour away from my hospital would rather not go in unless I’m sure it’s my waters!

Probably. Everyone kept saying “Your water isn’t leaking. It’s probably urine.” Uhhh I absolutely know if I piss myself, thanks. It was my water.

Is water still leaking? Like when you move? When i thought my water broke my dr told me to lay down with dry unders and if it was coming out while laying or not moving it was more than likely my water. (Fwi tmi it wasn't my water it was watery discharge that soaked through my unders and pants at the grocery store while chasing my toddler. 🤦)

Lay down and then stand up and see if you leak more. It doesn’t matter if you’re contracting or not you need to go get checked if your water broke. Mine broke and contractions never started. The longer you go with your water broken the more at risk you are of infection. And if you’re GBS positive you need antibiotics as soon as possible.

Unless you had pressure like you really had to pee, I would guess it's a leak. Call your dr. I had a leak one pregnancy and contractions never showed up. But if you haven't had a group b test yet, they may want you to go sooner.

I’d go to get checked for fluid. At 36 weeks with my first pregnancy, I stood up and a gush I’d fluid came dripping down my leg. I went in and they tested it - it wasn’t amniotic fluid. But, you never know and you’d rather be safe than sorry. It’s a simple test they do.
