Worried

My mom almost fainted after getting up out of a chair. She keeps telling me she’s ok. She got up, said “the back of my head feels...” and staggered at the door of my room and I jumped up and helped her sit back down. I begged her to go to the ER but she said she has an appointment later today and would tell them about it and is promising me she is ok.

I’ve passed out several times over the last few years due to my blood pressure getting low, so I know sometimes it can just happen, but she is 50, and her blood pressure kept running high last week and this week it has been low. She said she didn’t take her BP medication today either because she thought it was causing her bp to drop too low. I’m just really really worried. My stepdad thinks it’s ok for her to wait until her appointment as well. (Its in 7 hours.)

My husband died a couple years ago, and I begged him to see a different doctor. He wanted to wait until he could get in to see the doctor his parents saw which was over 2 weeks away. He passed away a few days after he made the appointment. So, it’s difficult for me to not panic.
