How long for hcg to get back to zero?

Question

I had a d&c midnight on Sunday for missed miscarriage, baby had heartbeat at 6wk2days, I was almost 8weeks and had some strong contraction like cramps so I went to ER, to find out the baby heart had stopped 
My hcg was 20,000 
How long could it take for my hcg to go back to zero? 
I did a test this morning and it’s still very positive 
This is my 7th loss 
Today I’m coping better then the last few days

I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a D&C early August and it took 5 weeks for mine to go back down. My baby stopped growing at 10 weeks and I had my D&C at what would have been 11 weeks.

I’m so sorry for your loss, I was ten weeks but our baby died in the seventh week. After my D&C it took about a week and a half/two weeks until it was negative 💔

After my d&c it took like 7 or 8 weeks to be zero for me again. My body just held on to it. I know some people it took 2-4 weeks. Hopefully it is quick for you. Sorry for your loss and good luck in the future.
