Anyone considering a home birth?

Anyone considering a home birth? With all this possible second wave makes me nervous for whats to come closer to our due dates. I was already planning to do a birth center birth but im wondering if anyone els is considering it? :)

I really really want to this is my 3rd and my other 2 i went 100% natural so i felt no need to be at the hospital but my husband is convinced and terrified of me dying at home....

I‘m planning to do a home birth as long as I stay low risk :). I already have my OBGyn on board who is specified in home births, and when I‘m in labor I will be assisted by either her and a midwife or two midwives (all work in the same office and are experienced in home births). The hospital is only 10 mins away in case we would have to transfer. 
I feel most comfortable giving birth at home, because I trust my body and insticts and hospitals kinda gross me out to be honest.

I’m planning a home birth as long as I stay low risk throughout the pregnancy. We have a midwife who comes to our house for the appointments. I gave birth to my first in a birth center but labored mostly at home, and I think it will be easier not to have to go anywhere. Plus, when my mom gave birth to my younger brother, her labor was only an hour and a half, and I don’t want to end up giving birth in the car trying to get to a birth center or hospital. And with Covid, I feel like the less time I spend at a hospital the better—lower chance of exposure. Midwives are great—they spend longer with you during appointments and the care feels more personalized. And we’re not too far from a hospital in case a transfer is needed. The main downside of a home birth is dealing with logistics that a hospital normally takes care of for you, like the birth certificate, first pediatrician visit, and hearing test, and a home birth is less likely to be covered by insurance than a hospital birth. Yep! We live close to hospital but we are planning on home birth! My midwife comes to our house for all of our appointments now ☺️
