Mother’s thumb

Has anyone ever had De Quervain's tenosynovitis or “mother’s thumb”? Mine started in pregnancy and it’s so much worse now. Apparently caused in part by lifting constantly and holding your wrist in an odd way for extended periods, like you do with a baby. It’s really bad at night in particular. My chiropractor has suggested some exercises and a brace at night which both help tremendously. I had never heard of it before!
