How do i clean this safely and effectively??

See the ring around the element I use the most? How do I clean that safely?? I have a newborn and want to be safe

You know you can unplug the burner and take it apart, too, right? If you need to replace the drip pans, bc sometimes those just won’t clean up! No ones mentioned that, so I thought I would.

Old toothbrush and barkeepers friend or baking soda made into a paste with water.

Baking soda/water paste. Let it sit for a few minutes and scrub it away gently. I have a glass top stove and use baking soda/water paste, with a tiny bit of dawn dish soap. I clean the stove top daily but I do that little trick a few times a week to keep it sparkling. When we first moved in the stovetop was horrid! The previous owners did not take care of it. Still some damage, but looks much better. We've lived here for almost a year now. First pic is when we did pre-move in cleaning and second pic was legit just 2 mins ago.

Get awesome. It takes everything out.

I just take out the stove eye and wipe with warm water. I usually do this after I finish the dishes. If that doesn't help I use a S.O.S. pad and it takes it off.
