Stop asking couples when they’re going to have a kid (or another one)...
This was a good read (link below). As someone who has been trying for a 2nd baby (and has been for the last two years now), I find it inappropriate, and sometimes hurtful, for people to continuously ask you when you’re going to have a baby (or another one). I feel like it tears open my wound of infertility struggles over and over again, and I have to put on a brave face and respond with “hopefully one day” as I don’t want to go into the painstaking details of my struggles (frankly nor is it their damn business for that matter either).
Bottom line - outsiders should be more aware of the questions their asking and how they can effect the other person on the receiving end. It’s not always appropriate to ask someone such personal/intimate details about their life (this includes “when are you going to get married”, “when are you going to buy a house”, etc.).
Edit: this is my personal opinion on the subject, I know not everyone will agree and that’s okay 😊
