Falling out of love

So lately my partner and I have been arguing because he's been doing shady shit around me and when I call him out on it he gets defensive. He made claims on how he no longer wanted to be in a relationship with me but then quickly justified it with saying that's how Ive been acting....

Today I saw a text between him and his dad, asking if we were alright and he says , " yeah for now, next week will be the same shit"

Not sure on how to feel about that honestly makes me feel like there is no effort put into fixing our relationship
