10 weeks old with Myoclonic Seizures

update: the eeg caught 12 of them. and it showed that the seizure jerks are not affecting her brain activity! i was told it should be something that she would grow out of. we will be keeping an eye on it and repeating test in 6 months if it’s still happening.

so i started to notice she has been having these spasms. her arms flail up in the air and stiff. for about 2 seconds. she pauses during this. sometimes she recovers fine, but sometimes they are clustered and will have them over and over and screaming fits. i did a lot of research online (i know, worst thing to do) and i found that myoclonic seizures / jerks fit her perfectly. i brought her to the pediatrician and showed him some videos of her doing it, and he agreed with what i thought. he referred me to a neurologist & physical therapist for her neck (she prefers one side and it’s flattening her head). we are doing an EEG tomorrow.

i am having so much anxiety about this. i’m mentally and physically drained and cry everyday.
