Question

I have dry skin eczema and my eyelids and around my eyes become very dry/ Flaky on top of having dark circles. are there any products that you guys would suggest to help me out ?

My daughter is 6.5 now but we have been through the ringer with her battling eczema, food allergies, and asthma. I would recommend closely monitoring your diet because you may be allergic to something that is affecting your skin and causing a reaction. If you see a dermatologist, I would inquire to get a prescription of Tacrolimus. It’s a non steroid ointment that we apply around her eyelids and it has helped tremendously. For something to moisturize your skin and lips rather than using lip balm or chapstick, Vaniply Ointment is our go to product! We use it on her lips to keep them from becoming chapped and everywhere else that gets super dry. If she is having a flair up, it is applied after her prescription topical steroid ointments. (Clobetasol & Triamcinolone-the strongest topical steroids for eczema). The best way to describe vaniply ointment is that it is very emollient minus all the extra stuff that irritates sensitive skin. It’s like using Vaseline but way better-minus the greasiness and stains on your clothing from Vaseline. We even used it for diaper rash. Been there, done that, threw away the grease stained T-shirt!

I’m not sure about in your specific location, but my son has bad eczema on his ankles and legs and putting shea butter on twice a day really helps.
