My Husband Smells AFTER a Shower 🛁

My husband took a shower last night then came straight to bed. I could smell his soap waft my way but I also smelled stink but thought it was the sheets. I moved in closer to kiss him goodnight and realized it was him! I asked if he scrubbed and he said yes. Then why does he still smell!? Anyone know the reasoning? 😫
