If someone calls you, when you answer the phone, SPEAK.
I work for a company that frequently needs to call other companies and I can’t even tell you how many times the phone rings, someone answers, and it’s just silent. You’re supposed to be a business, act professionally when you answer your phone and at least say “hello”.
