Weird period

I had brown discharge the day before yesterday like I normally do before a period. Yesterday then changed to normal red, lighter flow than normal but still kind of a lot (I normally have super heavy periods). Also the blood was super slimy? Now today I’m barley having any blood, more like spotting but bright red, almost like the end of my period. The first, second and third day of my cycles are usually VERY heavy bleeding. What is going on?
