pumping or formula feeding?

so i recently decided i wanted to try to breastfeed. my girl is 10 days old. my milk is starting to leave and she won’t latch because she loves her bottle! so i decided maybe i should pump. i bought a pump last night. but after researching.. pumping seems like more of a hassle than i thought it would be. should i still give it a shot or just stick with the formula??

That's really up to you. Pumping and breast feeding is hard. I did find pumping to be slightly more time consuming but I was determined to try and make it work. This was also before I started giving formula. There isn't a right or wrong answer to your question. Sure breast milk is more beneficial but a fed baby is best. And formula works well. Do what is best for you and your baby and if giving formula is less of a hassle and makes both of you happy then I would continue that. But if you really want to pump to say you gave it your best shot try it. If you don't like it you can always stop

The more you pump the more milk will come I milk is so much better for your baby and your body creates what baby needs so def pump if you can

You should do whatever feels right for you. Not going to sugar coat it, pumping is hard work. It’s time consuming and it can be difficult to balance pumping and feeding your baby. That being said, I have been doing it for 9 weeks and I plan to do it until I am able to stop but still feed him for a year.

Def give it a shot!!!!! It’s so so good for your baby if it doesn’t work it’s ok but since you got the pump I’d at least try. They have stuff to increase milk supply it’s in the bottle/ pump aisle
