Anatomy Scan:)

Baby boy was measuring perfectly yesterday at our 18 week scan! All the digits & organs. We are so lucky!!! He has the same puffy lips and nose as his big sister & is head down:) Adding the “robot” face because it is so cool!!!

The only unfortunate thing, is that he has a Choroid Plexus Cyst. Thankfully, my OB was very reassuring that since he had no other physical markers, and my NIPT was clear, it is “normal” and she’s not concerned. We just get to have an extra US in a few weeks to check if they’ve dissolved:) Which is pretty lucky.

[CPC’s are little “blister” like cysts on the Choroid Plexus, the part of the brain responsible for making cerebrospinal fluid! In most cases, these resolve and even if they don’t, they have no affect on baby neurologically or physically. They can be associated with Trisomy 18, in which they are more concerning.]

We are so lucky to get to see this little one and to have him be healthy. Praying and wishing you all healthy, happy and safe pregnancies!!!!!💓💓💓
