Midwives are Amazing 🙌🏻

Maybe it’s just mine, but midwives are amazing. I never had an OB and had midwives with my first baby too. But from the stories I hear, it’s so different to have midwives. The on call midwife has been texting me all evening to check in because I was 3-4cm at my membrane sweep today and have been having contractions. She has texted me every few hours and is so sweet! I also love that when it gets close to baby time, they stay with you. I’ve heard OBs just come in at the end when it’s time to push and even then it can be just the last bit of pushing they stay for. I love how relaxed midwives are and how they let you be in charge but are so knowledgeable when you need it! Anyway, just feeling grateful to have an awesome care team as the time gets close. Anyone else have midwives and love them?
