First signs of labor??

I’ve been losing my mucus plug for about a week now (not bloody) and now I just feel like I have the stomach bug or ate something bad but I don’t think that’s the case I read it could be labor ?? What were your first signs

With my first I was dilated to 3cm for 5 days then a Sunday came and I ate breakfast after that was planning on going with my day but started feeling sick, I thought it was what I ate so I didn’t think too much of it being my first pregnancy, I got home threw up about 2 times and I got diarrhea as well, then I started feeling some contractions. Later on I go to hospital and the next day exactly 37 weeks I had my son. 
Now currently 37+4 I’ve been dilated to a 4 since 36+4  so it’s been a week, I lost my bloody mucus plug a week ago, have lightning crotch, feel nauseous here and there and barely any contractions. Dr says that’s all I need to get going but hasn’t happened 🤦🏻‍♀️ 
Every pregnancy is very different, I wish I can tell you it’s time as soon as you get contractions but it’s not😭 it’s up to baby😓
