Twins!?

So I’m 6 weeks and I’ve had this feeling it could be twins. My hcg levels are doubling fast - quicker than average. 5 weeks they were almost 9,000. I’m also so bloated it looks like I’m showing. So last night I had a dream I saw twins on my ultrasound and my best friend sent me this text today! So crazy lol. Obviously I’m not sure of this but my ultrasound is Tuesday so we shall see!

Only an ultrasound will show how many of course. But my HCG at 5 weeks was a bit over 26,000 and I only had one. So that’s not an indicator. Either way, wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy! Congratulations! ♥️

Even if you are having twins, you probably won’t show until the second trimester. A lot of people hope for/think they’re having twins, but it isn’t all that common. Anyway, an ultrasound will tell you either way. Good luck with everything.

I was convinced I was having twins from the day I found out I was pregnant I was having dreams about it and seeing different signs but I'm now 23 pregnant and definitely not twins haha xx

My beta was around 9,000 at 5w with my first, when 2 days earlier they were around 1,200, then about a week later they were almost 200,000 so they doubled super fast. I ended up with a very healthy singleton boy, but you never know! Hoping for twins for you🤞

HCG levels or how quickly it rises does not indicate multiples. High levels and/or quickly rising numbers can happen just as often with one baby. Also, it’s a misconception that you show sooner with multiples. Most twin moms, like myself, didn’t show until about the second trimester at around 20 weeks.
