9 days post partum/ after c-section
I had a c-section 9 days ago and the first few days I was sore and could barely do anything because it hurt and my back hurt from hunching over so I wouldnt strain my muscles, but the second day I was home I slept in a bed instead of a recliner, I slept near my baby and got up to him and it wasnt terrible.
The first 3-4 days post partum I took it easy because it hurt to move but after I removed the tubes to the lidocaine ball and was freed from that burden I've been doing more and more every day.
I'm 9 days post partum and still healing, but I've bent over, done laundry, cleaned my house, I take care of my son, I am starting to cook again. I am getting back to myself and I thank God that it isn't worse. I was checked Friday and my ob said it was healing nicely and so far I don't have any issues besides being anemic from the surgery (I am supposed to take iron pills but I stopped them and started taking prenatals because I'm not getting the vitamins I need to be healthy). I can get around the house like normal, I can do laundry and clean my home and tend to my baby. I still take it slow, and the only discomfort I have is a small stinging where the muscles are being pulled a little by the staples but as far as that goes (and it's rare) I can do pretty much anything I did before minus lifting things and moving things around. I thank God he's allowing me to heal so quick so I can take care of my family. The healing is still slow, and I am still bleeding (it's like a period now) but I am thankful that God is blessing me with what health I have and giving me strength to get back up and do what I need to 💙🙏🏻
