Advice for Potty training my 2 year old son!?

Hey girls ! I’m hoping to get some advice on potty training a 2 year old boy ..TIA !!

Sooo we’ve been trying on and off for months now to (slowly) get him on the potty and out of diapers/ pull ups But now we are really stressing and trying to get him fully potty trained cause baby #2 is on the way and I really don’t wanna have 2 kids in diapers ! He knows what the potty is and he sits down just fine , no problem , but all he does is tell me “mommy pee” or “mommy poop” but doesn’t actually pee or poop .. he laughs and thinks it’s a game . We’ve tried flipping him backwards on the big toilet and letting him draw on the lid with washable markers that way he sits longer on the potty and that was a no go he would start trying to draw on the walls which we lucky stoped him from doing and the marker came right off the toilet lid because they were washable And we tried letting watch some cartoons while on the potty but he’d wanna get right off to go watch them in the room or living room instead . And idk if sitting down to pee or standing up is easier !? Help !! Im feeling helpless ! I just need tips and tricks 🙏🏼what helped you out the most when potty training your little ? I hate giving up ..he was showing me signs I thought by letting me know when he would in his diaper that’s why we tried in the first place but we are getting no success trying
