How long until you stopped bleeding and passing tissue?

I stopped bleeding after a week however 6 week later my hcg still wasn't back to 0 so they did an ultrasound. They found leftover tissue so I ended up needing a D&C.

First time it was shorter but still close to 2 weeks from start of red blood to finish. Second one was a much slower progression - I was bleeding for about a month, was almost done when my next period started and then that period was also longer than usual. Both were about same timeline as far as the pregnancy was concerned (baby stopped growing around 6-7 weeks and I found out at 9 weeks).

I miscarried at 5 weeks apparently but didn’t start bleeding until 8 weeks and it lasted for 10 days.
