So I am 4 months postpartum. I went back to work when she was almost 3 months well I decided to take my baby bonding time. I’m supposed to go next week on Monday but since telling them they have made it so hard to work. My schedule is all over the place I work from 10-8 11-8 whatever days they want even after I told them my availability. Well this past week childcare has been hard the person watching her started working evenings. I talked to them and asked if the can be flexible with my schedule since I have no one to watch her. I am willing to go early in the morning to get off early and they said no they can’t accommodate me. But give flexible hours to everyone else literally the ones who don’t even need it. I haven’t worked since Sunday I’ve called out because I have no one to watch her. I’m only getting paid 12$ an hour oh and they’re not able to locate my check from the last pay period. I called hr and I didn’t have a check so they had to issue it. Well today I have no one to watch her but I feel I’ve been missing so much. I’m so stressed out and I can’t just let anyone watch her cause I’m either not comfortable or covid. Also I’m risking putting my daughter at risk for covid people come in without masks and I’ve been so lucky since I started 2 people have got since I’ve worked. They don’t let you know who but everything goes around there. I found out I was close to both of them before they found out. And they still haven’t told me. What would you do. I’ve been there for 3 years and still getting paid the same as I started.
