Has anyone tried Frieda mom postpartum products ?

They're overpriced. The witchhazel foam made my vagina smell bad and I thought I had an infection, so only ever used that once. I might have kept using it if it helped a ton, but it felt like it did nothing. Never used the pad liners. I tried the sitz bath tablets and they weren't as good as epsom salts at helping pain and healing on my vagina, so I switched back to my Dr Teal's epsom salts. The ice pack maxi pads are waaaaaaaay overpriced. When I ran out of them I purchased a box of Medline ice pack maxi pads that we're almost identical and so much cheaper. Especially since I used like 4 a day 😂 they were the absolute best for my pain. I tried their disposable boy shorts and they weren't as good as the mesh panties they give at the hospital (I had a home birth but was still given some by my midwives). The legs of the shorts aren't long enough by your crotch, so your giant diaper pads and ice packs don't sit well and you'll leak and bleed on yourself. Fridamom does have one product that I absolutely recommend 100%, and that's their peri bottle. The angled sprayer was way easier to use than a regular peri bottle and I was able to get every spot clean of blood and help with pain. Hope that helps. 
To recap:
- just use actual witchhazel poured on your pad instead of the silly gimmicky products that aren't any better. 
- Dr Teal's Epsom salts for sitz baths. This are seriously a miracle and will shorten your healing time.
- Mesh panties are super comfy and awesome. Purchase extras to use with regular pads once your bleeding slows 
- Medline Ice pack maxi pads. I kept he box next to my bedside and when my vagina started to hurt I would just snap one and shove it in my pants on top of my pads and pull it out when it's no longer cool and toss it into a trash (I also recommend a trash can near your bedside)
- Fridamom peri bottle. Buy one for each bathroom in your house so you can go whenever you feel the urge without worrying.

I used their disposable underwear, which was extremely helpful after my c section too. The brief style ones are best. Super comfy too and they don’t stretch out so bad like the mesh hospital ones. I got the ice pads, but never had to use them for it’s intended use because I got a c section. BUT I did crack one open and put it on my incision to ice it. It worked great! Also, I got the foam spray stuff and put it on my pads I wore for a few weeks. Even though I didn’t give birth vaginally, the foam still felt nice because of the swelling, sensitivity, and bleeding down there. I didn’t use any of their other stuff though.
Aside from those, I don’t think all of it is necessary. It might be convenient. But it’s all super expensive if you try to buy all the stuff. One thing I will recommend that isn’t Frida is a perineal spray by Earth Mama. It’s a basic witch hazel spray. Great for healing down there.

The ice packs were nice. They were actually better than the hospital ones that I got because they were colder. The witch hazel liners made them extra cold haha but it was nice for the first couple days. I don’t really need them anymore though so now I have extra. Although I do have some internal hemorrhoids and possibly bunching that up near them could feel nice. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Honestly you really don’t need any of those before you leave the hospital just let your nurse know you’ll like to take extra I took extra hazel spray pads and disposable underwear 😊
