Protein-Filled Snack/Food Ideas?!
So, my midwife advised that she wants me to eat more protein, and to eat protein with every meal. She also said I should soon start eating healthy snacks between meals.
I'm a little bit picky when it comes to textures as I have some sensory processing issues, and I also have a shellfish allergy and my spouse has a fish allergy.
I wanted to hear from some other pregnant mamas, what are your favourite protein-filled foods and snacks?
Meat-wise, I tend to gravitate towards ground beef, boneless chicken breast, boneless pork chops, pork or beef roasts. I do eat dairy, and I am willing to try most things at least once!
Please help me get inspired to eat some more protein!!!
