I’m sorry but I lost all respect for my mom when she referred to suffragettes as “stupid whores who couldn’t please their husbands” and told me that I’ll never be happy in life because “women can’t work except at home”.
And, ya know, years of physical and mental abuse from both parents but that’s beside the point.
