Does anyone like the idea of a straw that glows if your drink has been drugged?

I like the idea of a world where people don’t have to worry about their drinks being drugged. However, if that was possible yes I would like that idea.

I mean there are teat strips, test chips, bracelets, nail polish, all sorts of products that show drugged drinks or not. I would rather use the test strip or chip than a straw. I would be wary of what chemical would be able to make a straw glow and if the drink was clean I would be wary of drinking it with the chemicals personally. I am just careful with my drinks...I order it and it does not leave my sight. I don't take drinks from people and would never leave my drink and come back to it. We should work in making date rape non existent in my opinion but I would stick with a strip/chip personally.

I voted yes, but at the same time, what would be in the straw to make it glow and how will it react with alcohol or carbonated substances with prolonged exposure? Would it be single use? How expensive would it be? What about the success rate? 
I'm all for safety, but I think that other methods are better/easier. I just wish that these things didn't need inventing to begin with.
