We got a crib, changing table, and dresser set for $400. We were given two white bookshelves and a rocking chair. Then I’d say $500-600 on decorations and little things.

$200? Whatever his dresser cost, it’s ikea so it was probably under $200. And another $20 for decals to put on the dresser. Got his crib when he was 4 months old and used gift cards we got when I was pregnant so it was free. Didn’t need anything else.

Next to nothing. We got a dresser from friends, a crib from my aunt, the rocker was about $200, we already owned the rug. The picture frames were about $100 and printing the pictures was about $200. We just used a table top changing pad which is about $20. We are pretty minimalist and fine with reusing items as appropriate. We did invest in a top of the line stroller and car seat.

0$. We were given all the furniture, I painted the decorations with canvases and paint that I already had (baby animals and rainbows, that sort of thing). I don’t personally see a need for a particular theme or for things to look a certain way. When he’s old enough he can let me know if he wants his room to be themed and decorated.

If you go to garage sales or Facebook market place your could probably do it for under $200.

It wasn't a huge all-at-once cost for us, as we slowly bought one or two pieces at a time.
$100 wallpaper, $75 crib, $200 dresser, $100 secondhand rocker. Plus the small things: $40 footstool, $40 side table, $30 shelf, $20 dresser handles... but then lots of other things we have decorated with and used that our friends and family purchased for us.
So like $600+ but like I said, we've been slowly purchasing since I was 10-12 weeks along. And certainly could have done much cheaper if I hadn't gotten picky about certain pieces (I just HAD to have this specific dresser, rocker, side table, etc...)
