Who’s been to Yosemite?

We wanna go to the snow and take a small trip. I’ve never been there my husbands been wanting to go. But who ever has gone when is the perfect months to go to the snow there? Thanks in advance

typically the sierras start getting heavy snowfall beginning in mid to late november. this is information you could've googled though. if you just want to see snow in the sierras just go to lake tahoe. during winter yosemite experiences extremely heavy snowfall and half the park will be closed (in addition to existing restrictions die to covid and recent fires). so while it's definitely beautiful and you avoid the summer crowds, you're avoiding them for a reason.

I've been thanksgiving week and there was no snow. Id shoot for December to February but they are known to get snow even in the spring. When I went in November higher altitudes were getting snow but the roads to those locations where blocked off and inaccessible. We stayed at the Tenaya Lodge in a cute cabin..highly recommend it. The food was good, the location was perfect and the lodge was beautiful. They had a tiny ice skating rink for kids too.
